• We audit our facilities to ensure compliance with corporate and OSHA guidelines.
• We benchmark with other facilities to identify best practices and share what we learn with all facilities.
• We provide continuous safety reminders to raise all Evergreen Packaging employees’ safety awareness.

Awards and Recognitions

Evergreen Packaging facilities have received numerous awards for environmental, health, and safety performance. In addition to the VPP recognitions; our Pine Bluff mill in Arkansas received awards for no lost time injuries in 2004 and 2005, and was the second-safest mill (more than 2,000,000 person-hours) for 2005 and 2006 in the United States. Our Plant City, Florida, converting site received environmental excellence awards for seven straight years and the AF&PA Safety Award for 2005. The Pine Bluff mill is ISO 14001 certified for environmental management systems.
